# server.Server.showResolvedOptions

- **Module:** server
- **Package:** libtmux
- **Language:** TypeScript
- **Kind:** method
- **Source:** https://github.com/libtmux/libtmux-ts/blob/073b9d7dedad900bff6f5ec0ea47794e40225870/packages/libtmux/src/server.ts#L1017

```
showResolvedOptions(
  options?: CommandOptions,
): Promise<ReadonlyMap<string, string>>
```

The option values that govern this server, own and inherited together.

[`showOptions`](/en/ts/latest/reference/server-server-showoptions/) reports only what was set here, which for a fresh server is
often nothing. This resolves what it inherits as well, so an option has an
answer wherever it was actually set.

## Examples

```ts
(await server.showResolvedOptions()).get("message-limit");
```

## Parameters

- `options?` (`CommandOptions`)

## tmux command
