Default deadline, in milliseconds, for every command this server runs: 30 seconds unless set. [`null`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operators/null) removes it, so commands wait as long as tmux takes.

Must be a positive timer-safe integer or [`null`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operators/null). A single call can
override it either way. Commands that wait on a person — [`display-popup`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/display-popup/),
[`display-menu`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/display-menu/), [`command-prompt`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/command-prompt/), [`confirm-before`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/confirm-before/), [`display-panes`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/display-panes/) and
[`wait-for`](/en/tmux/latest/manual/wait-for/) — get no default, since bounding them would cut the person off;
a deadline passed on the call itself still applies to them.
