# session.Session.refreshed

- **Module:** session
- **Package:** libtmux
- **Language:** TypeScript
- **Kind:** method
- **Source:** https://github.com/libtmux/libtmux-ts/blob/073b9d7dedad900bff6f5ec0ea47794e40225870/packages/libtmux/src/session.ts#L413
- **Page:** https://libtmux.org/en/ts/latest/reference/session-session-refreshed/

```
refreshed(): Promise<Session>
```

This session, read again at a new instant.

The receiver keeps the instant it was read at; the answer is a new handle
on a new snapshot, so neither reading contradicts itself.

## Examples

```ts
const later = await session.refreshed();
later.windows.count();
```

## In other ports

Read a session again
