Typed structurally rather than as the global, because [`AbortSignal`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/AbortSignal) comes
from the DOM or Node type libraries and naming it would make these public
declarations require one. A real [`AbortSignal`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/AbortSignal) satisfies it.
