An immutable view of the server at one instant.

[`windows`](/en/ts/latest/reference/types-serversnapshot-windows/) and [`panes`](/en/ts/latest/reference/types-serversnapshot-panes/) hold placements rather than distinct objects. A window
linked into two sessions, or shared by two grouped sessions, is one window
that appears once per session — so these count places a thing is, and an id
matches every placement of it. Narrow with the session to reach one:

## Examples

```ts
snapshot.panes.one({ id: "%1", session: { is: { name: "work" } } });
```
