A window's layout changed.

[`layout`](/en/ts/latest/reference/types-tmuxlayoutchangeevent-layout/) and [`visibleLayout`](/en/ts/latest/reference/types-tmuxlayoutchangeevent-visiblelayout/) carry whatever tmux hands this connection: on
3.8+ that is JSON, the same wire form a snapshot's [`window_layout`](/en/tmux/latest/catalog/formats/window_layout/) reports
(the connection requests it on attach); before 3.8 tmux has only the
classic layout string, on both sides. Either is an opaque token to compare
for equality, not a grammar to parse.
