Description#
Empty names,
:,., control characters and DEL are refused, because the supported servers do not agree on them: 3.2a through 3.6b rewrite a delimiter to_and hand back a session the caller did not name, 3.7 fails, and 3.7a onward stores it literally. What is accepted here reads back unchanged from every supported server.
