Description#
A detached session has no client to take its size from, so tmux gives it 80x24 and every program in it formats to that. Nothing can widen it afterwards except
Window.resize(), and a width-aware program has already truncated its output by then rather than wrapped it.tmux 3.2 ignores both for a detached session and gives 80x24 anyway; 3.3 is the first release that honours them.
